master hair stylist
I use scissors and color to create beauty and power with my clients’ lifestyle in mind. Shape, form and function are all important when making over a client. I love taking average hair and making it fabulous. I enjoy incorporating colors and textures into my creations to make high performance hair easy to manage on a daily basis.
I have been inclined to color and creativity with hair since childhood. As a little girl my platform was my patient pony, who was my first dive into braids, textures and color with the assistance of Jello and Kool-aid only to help instill a passion for creativity.
In 2005 I became aquatinted with owners of an Aveda salon. This was a turning point in my life when my passion for hair creativity was brought to fruition. I was able to see the positive impact hair can have on self confidence and image and made the choice to enroll in school with Bumble and Bumble. After graduation I returned to the Aveda salon that sparked the desire to work with hair professionally.
Following my passion, I gathered experience, sought out continued educational opportunities with respected peers of the realm becoming a level 3 Master Stylist and was training to be an Aveda professional educator.
Eight years later, after much thought, I took leap of faith and Chrome was born, a collective of beauty and wellness where I use Kevin Murphy as my new medium to help customers have the confidence and look they desire.
I am currently training to be come a color master and educator for other professionals with Kevin Murphy.
